Now, it’s probably difficult to imagine the excitement around the Ivanushki International group. In the late 90s, they were the real gods of our stage, and, in the absence of Instagram and paparazzi at that time, they were practically inaccessible, which made the forbidden fruit even sweeter. The first shock came to fans when Igor Sorin left the group in 1998 - he was quickly replaced by the new “little Ivanushka” - Oleg Yakovlev. Soon after his departure, Igor Sorin died tragically - he fell from the balcony of the 6th floor. For many years, his fans blamed everyone for the death of their idol and created a real cult of his personality.

Meanwhile, Oleg Yakovlev was slowly settling into the group. His position was not easy - he had just joined the group when his predecessor died under strange circumstances. And, of course, the public was not kind to the “replacement.” Many then agreed - he was cute, not at all similar to Sorin in appearance (except perhaps in height) - white, deliberately carelessly highlighted hair, wide Buryat cheekbones inherited from his mother. A talented guy, he came to Moscow from Irkutsk. He studied at GITIS with Lyudmila Kasatkina. Then Armen Dzhigarkhanyan took him to his theater. Armen Borisovich later admitted that he would take Oleg back with great pleasure: the guy is talented. And Yakovlev considered the artistic director his second father. There were difficult times in his life - in order to survive in the capital, he worked as a janitor. And so, it seemed, fate gave him such a lucky ticket - participation in one of the most popular domestic groups.

Sorin's shadow always hovered somewhere nearby - at first Oleg was even forced to copy him. For a long time, fans did not want to perceive him as a full-fledged member of the group, although he was a member of the group for more than 15 years and in fact saved it after Igor’s death. At that time, Sasha Kutsevol appeared next to the guy, who tried her best to promote the former “Ivanushka”. At first she was his press agent, and then she became his common-law wife. And she helped her artist a lot. But, unfortunately, a period began on our stage when young talents began to multiply like mushrooms, the competition was off the charts, and there was not enough money due to the crisis. Plus, Oleg behaved decently and quietly, so he did not give the press much reason to publish. But he never had any serious hits. They said that Oleg began to abuse alcohol - these rumors could well be true, given all the difficulties that arose along his way. He left the group when he was 43 years old - at this age, of course, it is good to have some kind of stability in life, which he did not have.

Even when he left the group, Kirill Andreev in one of his interviews explained Yakovlev’s decision by alcohol abuse. Apparently, thanks to his modest character, we never saw Oleg in a state of intoxication - he was not one of those who act weird at a party, having too much. But he himself admitted that he likes to drink wine, and tequila with friends. Now they write that he had cirrhosis of the liver. The official cause of death was pulmonary edema due to heart failure. Birth and family

Kirill was born in one of the Moscow maternity hospitals on April 6, 1971.
His dad Alexander Andreev was a builder by profession, originally from Rostov-on-Don. He was a very good specialist, for which he received the title of Honored Builder.
Mom Nina Mikhailovna was educated as a printing engineer and worked at the First Exemplary Printing House as a chief technologist.

His father left the family when Kirill was 10 years old, but the boy never held a grudge against his dad for this. The parents did everything humanely, without quarrels, scandals, mutual reproaches; they did not transfer their problems to their son. After his parents' divorce, Kirill always maintained good relations with his father and with his half-sister Natasha (the girl was born in her father's second marriage).

But in 2003, my dad did not suddenly die. A healthy man was sitting in the kitchen, then he stood up, fell as if he had been knocked down, and died. At the autopsy, doctors determined that a blood clot had broken off. It seemed to Kirill then that he had lost part of himself. He always misses his dad, the pain is especially strong when he has to perform at the Olimpiysky, because his father participated in the construction of the complex.

In 2006, my mother passed away. She died of cancer. As is often the case with many, I did not pay attention to the pain that appeared, thinking that everything would go away with time. When the pain became stronger, I went to the hospital, but it was too late. My mother spent the last six months in terrible torment; Kirill took her to all the clinics, but nowhere was they able to help. Andreev, it seems, was never able to survive the passing of his mother; the pain only dulled a little over the years. At first he lived as if in a dream and cried non-stop. And then he poured out all his grief into poetry; composer Ilya Zudin wrote the song “Mama” on them.

For every day of his life, Kirill is endlessly grateful to his parents. And the singer considers his life, especially his childhood, very happy.

Childhood and school years

When Kirill was a little boy, the family lived on Ryazansky Prospekt in the capital's Kuzminki district. He liked this place; Kirill considers Kuzminki a very good area, although not entirely calm. The singer especially often recalls the courtyard and forest park, which in those days was located near the house. For him, these places from his childhood remained the best in the world.

At the age of seven, Kirill went to Moscow secondary school No. 468. His life during this period was like that of all Soviet children - classes at school, then a swimming section, doing homework and then hanging out in his favorite yard with friends. Kirill was the leader among the boys; under his leadership, huts were built, back-to-back football tournaments were held, and games of “Cossack Robbers” were organized. Despite such activity, he was still incredibly interested in reading books.

As a child, Kirill devoted a lot of time to sports and achieved high results in swimming. When he was 12 years old, out of thousands of boys who were involved in the swimming section, he passed a very strict selection and was among the top ten in the swimming school. I reached the point of becoming a candidate for master of sports, but stopped there.

He did not receive a musical education: cramming solfeggio was not for him. But I always loved to sing. Probably genes had an effect, because his grandmother sang in the Pyatnitsky choir, and his great-uncle was a dancer in a folk ensemble led by Igor Moiseev. Kirill also loved listening to gramophone records, of which there were many in the house. He remembers how dad was sent on a business trip to Algeria, and from there he brought a whole collection of records by Western pop singers.

Rarely, but sometimes Kirill stops by his native street, where he spent his best childhood years. When he finds himself there, warm memories simply overwhelm the soul. In his small homeland, they don’t forget about him either. At the school where the singer studied, in the assembly hall there is a whole corner dedicated to Kirill Andreev.

College, army, first earnings

Living alone with my mother, my financial situation could not be called good. Kirill was thinking about the future, and achievements in sports could not support him much at that time. Films with Arnold Schwarzenegger began to appear in the Soviet Union, the young man watched enough of them and signed up for bodybuilding, squeezing 140 kg of weight.

A tall, handsome, young, slender and pumped-up young man began acting in commercials. When he brought home his first salary of 300 rubles, his mother burst into tears, because her monthly salary was exactly half as much.

Kirill decided not to receive higher education, but graduated from the Moscow Radio-Mechanical College.

In 1989, Andreev was drafted into the army. He ended up in the city of Kovrov, Vladimir region, in the artillery troops.

In 1991, Kirill was demobilized. By chance, on the subway, he read an announcement that a selection was being held for Vyacheslav Zaitsev’s modeling school. The young man decided to try and, thanks to his external physical characteristics, the casting went without problems. For the next few years, Kirill worked at the House of Models, during which time he managed to travel to the USA, where he completed courses at the American School of Advertising and Fashion Models.

In the modeling business, Kirill reached a high professional level, and he was filmed a lot in commercials and video clips of such popular performers as Svetlana Vladimirskaya and Laima Vaikule. This whole process fascinated Kirill incredibly; during filming, he clearly realized that he wanted the same thing - to sing and act in videos. At the same time, he met the pop singer Natalya Vetlitskaya, who later played an important role in Andreev’s fate.

Music career

In 1995, Kirill accidentally met Natasha Vetlitskaya two years after they met. She said that her good friend, producer and composer Igor Matvienko, was just recruiting guys to create a vocal group. Kirill went to Mosfilm, where candidates were auditioning for the future team of Ivanushki International. There were hundreds of young people there, but Matvienko chose Sorin, Ryzhy and Kirill. After this, Andreev considers himself lucky.

The team gained wild popularity almost immediately after its appearance on the Russian stage. The song “Clouds”, which was written in a slightly new style for the Russian stage ─ trip-hop, created a real sensation. The success was stunning, “Clouds” sounded from every apartment or passing car.

Already in 1996, two of the group’s compositions made it to the finals of “Songs of the Year”.

A trio of young guys filled stadiums, female fans went crazy for them, their musical compositions occupied the top lines of all kinds of charts in the country:

Personal life

Before meeting his wife Lolita Alikulova, Kirill was not deprived of female attention; during tours, fans were not allowed access to hotels.

And on December 31, 1998, everything changed in his life, fate gave him a meeting with Lola as a surprise for the New Year. It was love at first sight, they celebrated the New Year together. Then he asked the girl for her phone number and lost it; he himself has no idea how this could have happened, because Kirill is a terrible neat person in life.

For ten days he could not find peace for himself; the beautiful Lola seriously hooked him. Then, through mutual friends who were then at the New Year's party, I found out the phone number, immediately called and invited me to celebrate the Old New Year at the restaurant. Moreover, Kirill ordered a table for three, another place for his mother, he understood that he could not live even a day without the girl, so he decided to immediately introduce Lola to his future mother-in-law. The girl was discouraged at first, but dinner at the restaurant passed in a warm atmosphere, then Lola and Kirill went to his house, and never parted again.

Everything started happening very quickly, Andreev immediately gave Lola the second set of keys to his apartment. And after a couple of months of living together, Kirill convinced the girl to quit her job; she was an aerobics instructor. Lola began to take care of the house, prepare lunches and dinners, and wait for Kirill from concerts and tours. Every time the singer went on tour to other cities, he brought his beloved gifts: bags, shoes, clothes, jewelry.

Kirill and Lola didn’t have a luxurious wedding; they just went to the registry office together and got married.

In the fall of 2000, the couple had a son; at the insistence of his wife, the boy was named Kirill.
